Over several years of being the Family Behavioral Health: Tacoma site director, I have learned that families have the best outcomes when we listen and work to incorporate the core mission and values. Watching a youth find new joy and a parent talk about their family with pride keeps me coming to work. The collaboration with colleagues and celebrating employees’ successes energizes me. Outside of work, I enjoy physical activity, especially dance, spending time with animals and friends, and never taking myself too seriously.
