Behavioral Rehabilitation Services

Accessed through DSHS Division of Child and Family Services, BRS provides stabilization and permanency to children who have had difficulty in the foster care system in the past to help them reduce behavioral problems and reunify with their families or find other permanent homes.

In-home Behavioral Rehabilitation Services

Accessed through DSHS Division of Child and Family Services. BRS In-home services provide intensive support and stabilization to children who are state dependents in their own homes.

Crisis Family Intervention

Accessed through the DSHS Division of Child and Family Services, CFI is a brief intervention to help families who are dealing with conflict.

Children’s Crisis Stabilization

Provided in Thurston and Mason Counties for Medicaid and Medicaid-eligible children and their families. Crisis stabilization services are designed to assist children who are experiencing mental health crisis to help them remain in their homes and avoid psychiatric hospitalization.

Crisis services are referred through local hospital emergency departments, the RSN/DCFS Liaison, the Family Alliance for Mental Health, Behavioral Health Resources, Seamar Behavioral Health, and the Integrated Case Management Team.
